The cost of excess to our environment

I do not believe in scarcity, but on the uneven distribution of resources throughout the world. I do not believe in communism nor in capitalism, but in the potential of some people to make a bigger impact in the way we manage our resources so that anyone on this planet has to go without.

While I think people are entitled to what they have, I strongly believe sharing is caring and there is not need to be part of an organization to make an impact or have an impact in the world.

Whether we want it or not, we are all part of the problem because of how we manage our excess, discard them and or tore them. I thought long and hard about it and hesitated several times to launch this website because I thought someone was already doing it or is doing it better than I will ever do, however, I think the approach here is different. I do not claim to have created a philanthropic organisation, however I am looking to create a win-win situation in which excess is managed in a sustainable manner globally, where one can benefit from this platform without necessarily belonging to a group or type of affiliation.

Everything we do has a cost attach to it, but not necessarily a gain

What is really the cost of excess? well one will reply, it depends! Does it depend? you might wonder; yes it does on the industry, the job, the activity and many other factors. Everything we do has a cost attached to it, but not necessarily a gain, reason why for years now we in this world have been looking for ways to lower costs and many business and managerial books have delved into this topic. While there might be ways to lower production costs or costs of acquisition, we still see costs created after production and or acquisition and savvy marketing campaigns are not enough to reduce the costs linked to excess, overproduction and so forth.

In this short article, I am not pretending to have the answer to this challenge, however, I am wondering if we are not going about it the wrong way!
